Trump Supporter Gets THROWN Under The Bus
This is just shameful.
Sadly, a Trump supporter in Virginia was fired for wearing a “Trump 2020” hat to a meeting at work.
According to the Washington Examiner, Dave Sunderland, 55, was fired and told that shipyard workers cannot “campaign” at work.
“I wore a ball cap. I wasn’t passing out bumper stickers. I wasn’t asking people to vote. I wasn’t doing anything, except for wearing a ball cap going to work,” Sunderland stated.
Sunderland then said his supervisor told him to take off the hat, “He said, ‘You can’t wear that. And I said, ‘I’ve been wearing it for four years.‘”
Sunderland also stated in the past he had seen fellow employees wearing Obama and Hillary shirts.
“I don’t have a problem with anything anybody wears,” Sunderland stated. “That’s their First Amendment right to express themselves, you know, freedom of expression. That’s their right. But when I wore something, they came down on me. … They take away my freedom of expression, but they don’t for other folks.”
