Schiff’s NASTY Move Against Republicans REVEALED
He’s still doing the most to sabotage the Republicans…
Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, battled again with Republicans on the committee on Friday after refusing to allow Republican New York Rep. Elise Stefanik question former Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.
“The gentlewoman will suspend,” Schiff said after California Rep. Devin Nunes attempted to give Stefanik some time.
“What is the interruption for this time? It is our time,” Stefanik responded.
Schiff said the House rules only allowed questions to be asked by Nunes and Counsel Steve Castor. Nunes disagreed, arguing that any committee member should be able to ask questions because Republicans were given space for questions.
“We control the time, it’s been customary of this committee that whoever controls the time can yield to whoever they wish. If we have members of Congress that have a few questions, it seems appropriate that we be able to let Ms. Stefanik ask her question,” Nunes said.
Nunes eventually relented and acknowledged Castor.
In each of the first two public hearings on impeachment, Stefanik and Schiff argued. Stefanik blamed Schiff for keeping witnesses during open or closed-door hearings from answering questions from the Republican Party.
